Laser treatment for spider veins is known as laser therapy or laser ablation. In this procedure, a laser is used to deliver intense light energy to the affected veins, causing them to collapse and be absorbed by the body. The treatment is non-invasive and typically requires no downtime.

How Vascular Lesion Treatment Works

During laser vein removal treatments, the laser targets individual veins. The heat from the laser causes the walls of the targeted veins to collapse. After collapsing they become scar tissue that is absorbed by the body, and the spider veins disappear. The best part is, this has no impact on the effectiveness of the circulatory system, since the treated veins were no longer functioning as they should. Instead, the body actually replaces those spider veins with normal ones. In comparison with other spider vein treatments, which mainly affect the surface layers, our laser also targets the underlying vascular feeding system, which ensures long-term effectiveness of the treatment.

Upon initial consultation we will determine which spider vein treatment is best. This process is perfectly safe because other healthy veins supply blood to the treated area, and the body’s immune system clears away the dead tissue after treatment.
